Two men arrested in connection with Oadby robbery




Two Men have been arrested following a robbery at a premises in The Parade, Oadby.


The men, aged 25 and 21, and both from Leicester, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident which happened on Thursday 9 May.


Both men currently remain in police custody.

Officers were called to the premises at 8.42am.


It was reported a vehicle had reversed into the building and cash had been stolen from a bank deposit machine.


No-one was injured in the incident.

Enquiries remain ongoing.

Detective Inspector Mark Parish said: “While these arrests have been made, the investigation remains ongoing and we continue to appeal to anyone who has any information to make contact with us.


“If you have any footage of the incident which you have not yet provided to us, please do so. If you have any CCTV or dashcam footage from the time of the incident, please also check this.


“Similarly, if you have any other information in relation to the incident – no matter how insignificant it may seem - we urge you to make contact with us.


 “We would like to thank everyone who has provided information to us so far and assisted us in this investigation.”
