Officers are appealing for information after two robberies and several assaults were reported in Leicester on Thursday 11 March.
It was reported that around 2.30pm on Green Lane Road a woman was assaulted, threatened with a knife and an attempt was made to steal her mobile. The woman sustained minor injuries.
Around 3.15pm it was reported that several people were approached and slapped near Green Lane Infant School.
Another robbery was reported around 8pm on St Saviours Road. A woman was reportedly followed and punched in the head before her mobile was stolen. The woman sustained a minor injury.
A 30-year-old woman from Leicester has been arrested in connection with these incidents.
She was described as wearing a black coat and light coloured blue/grey jeans or tracksuit bottoms.
DS Jon Putnam said: “Two of these incidents were reported in the middle of the day when many people are likely to have been around.
“We would like anyone who was affected during these incidents or anyone who witnessed them or saw the woman described to please get in touch.”
