Officers are appealing for information after report of a burglary at a farm near Melton Mowbray


Officers are appealing for information after report of a burglary at a farm near Melton Mowbray on Thursday 24 November.


Between 1am and 4.30am a number of tools were stolen from an outbuilding at a farm on Broughton Lane, Long Clawson.


Two chainsaws, a strimmer and hedgcutter, three drills, an impact driver and a circular saw were all stolen.


PC Melissa Stapleton would like to hear from anyone who has any information in relation to the incident.


She said: “It is likely a vehicle was used to leave the farm and may have driven past CCTV cameras in the area.


“We would urge people to review their CCTV for the night of 24 November and please get in touch with anything that may help us identify a vehicle.


“Please also make contact with us if you have seen or heard of any of the stolen items being offered for sale.”
