Police officers are appealing for information after a robbery in Leicester on Thursday 18 March.
Around 6.30pm in the Beaumont Leys area of the city it was reported that a man was hit over the head with a spanner or wrench before his laptop was stolen.
The attacker ran away towards Heacham Drive and Scalpay Close.
He is described as black, 6ft tall, 25-30 years old with a curly black beard. He wearing either a red face mask or red scarf partially covering his face, a black hoodie with the hood up, black clothing and white shoes.
Detective Constable Charlotte Pattison said: “This incident occurred early in the evening when it was still light and people are likely to have still been out and about.
“We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the man described.
“We would urge people who were driving in the Beaumont Leys area to check their dash cam footage to see if they may have captured this man.”
