Officers are appealing for information after a dog was stolen from kennels in Station Road, North Kilworth.
Between midnight and 6.30am on Friday 12 February, entry was forced into the kennels via a neighbouring farm and a three-year-old cockapoo called Logan was stolen.
The male dog, who has been microchipped, was last seen wearing an orange collar with a blue acrylic tag that had the owner’s details written on.
PC Hayley Stokes said: “We are carrying out investigations to try and find Logan.
“This has been a very distressing incident for his owner and were are eager to speak to anyone with information.
“We believe Logan may be being kept locally and urge anyone who may have seen him to contact us.”
